Deep Weather Frequently Asked Questions
How do I refresh the forecast?
To refresh, simply pull down on the forecast section table and release. The most recent data will be downloaded for you.
In Weather Images, how do I close an image?
To close an image in the image viewer, simply tap, hold and "flick" the image downward.
Why does the forecast say it's from another city?
Deep Weather automatically finds the National Weather Service Forecast Office nearest to your location. These offices cover fairly large geographical areas and are where the forecast data used by all other weather sources originate.
How often are forecasts updated?
Deep Weather will automatically get the most recent data and images for the location you are looking at. Area Forecast Discussions are updated daily around 3am and 3pm, and usually with each forecast update as well.
In the Search/Map view, how do I get the forecast for my chosen location?
Simply tap the pin for the location you are interested in, and then tap on the Information icon in the annotation that pops up.
I prefer to read the entire Forecast Discussion as one page. How do I do that?
Scroll down to the bottom of the forecast sections and select "Single Page Version" to get your Forecast Discussion as one page. If you support Deep Weather through a Deep Weather Pro subscription or Lifetime membership, you can choose to have the single page version be chosen by default.
I own multiple devices that I want to use my Deep Weather Pro subscription on. How do I activate it on my other devices?
Your Deep Weather Pro subscription or lifetime membership can be shared between all iOS devices that either share your AppleID, or are part of a Family Sharing Plan that includes your AppleID. To activate Deep Weather Pro on another device, simply select to upgrade to Pro, and then tap "Restore Past Purchases." Your device will now have access to all the Pro features.
Can I share my Deep Weather Pro subscription with other members of my family?
Yes, Your Deep Weather Pro subscription or lifetime membership can be shared between all iOS devices that either share your AppleID, or are part of a Family Sharing Plan that includes your AppleID.
